At the beginning of the second chapter, you find out that Anne has also had a "failed" relationship, which was "possibly on Henry's orders" - as to relate to the author/protagonist. Henry comes to Anne and actually asks her to marry him once his annulment is complete, to which she says yes of course. You also get more input towards her family near the end.
As the group prepares for their hunt at the beginning of the third chapter, our protagonist once again embarks upon yet another introspective journey as she describes her new clothes, her current surroundings, and her coming hunt. While on the hunt, Henry shows a creepy side as he metaphorically compares his undying love for Anne through the blood of their recently killed stag.
During their dinner party later, we find out about Thomas Wyatt's interest in Anne and how it obviously cannot be. At the end of the chapter I started laughing out loud at what happened. All I could think was "TMI?!". That might have gone a little too far, especially for us guys...

At the beginning of chapter four, we find out that Henry is in a mad rush to marry Anne, whilst finishing the annulment of his marriage with Katherine, so he leaves for London. Anne is 'troubled' with the decision of what to send after Henry as a gift. She ends up choosing the ever-so-famous golden ship that many know Anne by. Anne then spends most of her remaining time in her father's library before their trip to Allington.

At the beginning of chapter 6, we find out that George, among other things, is a straight up creeper. He apparently comes through Anne's window later in the morning while she is sleeping and stands at the foot of her bed 'til she wakes up... How long did he stand there? We then endure another drawn-out description of another person, as 21st century Anne apparently takes 5 minutes to completely size up the unknown person creeping on her before she realizes who it is. After the 'sketchy-ness' subsides, George hands Anne a letter from the king. which asks when Anne will join him at his castle. George then proceeds to gossip with Anne about how the current queen has been bad mouthing her, calling her a whore - among other things, I'm sure.

During chapter 7, per Henry's 'request', Anne travels to Beaulieu Palace, which Henry bought from her father years before, to meet him. She then finds out Henry wants Anne to serve the queen until the annulment is complete. On the way to Beaulieu, the Boleyns stop by Anne's uncle's place, where she unknowingly crosses paths with Henry's future (5th) wife. Anne's mother and uncle argue about Anne and Henry's sexual endeavors while we find out that Anne has a naturally beautiful singing voice.
Once we hit chapter 8, Anne has arrived at Beaulieu and begins to serve the queen, dressed in plain, gray clothing as not to gain attention. The queen is annoyed when Anne begins to bow to her and tells her to stop. Anne then meets Anne Gainsford, who she referes to as 'nan', who asks her about her personal relationship with Henry. Everyone thinks that Anne has already 'opened herself up to Henry'.
